Yours for the making.
Forget what you think you know about banking. We do things differently here. We exist to back teachers and nurses - building a bank designed entirely around them.
We're a customer-owned Australian bank with a clear purpose: making every money moment better. While our organisation has evolved, that deep connection to our purpose is stronger than ever. And now, we're scaling new heights. We're more than a bank - we're building something that gives back in real, everyday ways.
The difference you'll make
This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role. As a trusted partner to the CEO, you'll play a pivotal role in helping shape the future of Bank First, creating the conditions for our CEO to focus on strategic priorities, make confident decisions and drive organisational impact.
You'll bring structure, rhythm and clarity to a fast-moving environment, ensuring priorities stay aligned, commitments are delivered and the organisation continues to move forward with momentum.
By anticipating challenges, identifying opportunities and connecting the dots across the business, you'll provide the support, insight and foresight that enables our CEO to operate at their best. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll help translate strategic priorities into action, driving alignment, accountability and progress across the organisation.
With curiosity and accountability, you will:
-
Partner closely with the CEO, anticipating needs, managing priorities and providing trusted support, insight and perspective.
-
Drive strategic priorities by coordinating actions, monitoring commitments and ensuring key initiatives continue to progress.
-
Act as a central point of connection between the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, helping to establish operating rhythm, facilitate alignment and drive accountability.
-
Prepare high-quality communications, presentations, reports and executive briefings that support strategic discussions and informed decision-making.
-
Build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders while acting as an extension of the CEO through sound judgement, discretion and professionalism
Who we're looking for
You're curious, commercially minded and motivated by making an impact through others. You'll thrive in a role that sits at the heart of executive decision-making and organisational strategy.
You bring strong judgement, exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence and discretion. Comfortable operating in both the detail and the bigger picture, you're able to balance competing priorities while maintaining focus on strategic outcomes.
You build credibility quickly, influence senior stakeholders effectively and create the conditions for others to succeed. Most importantly, you'll be energised by the opportunity to partner closely with the CEO, helping translate strategy into action while supporting the broader success of the Executive Leadership Team..
To thrive in this role, you will have:
-
Significant experience supporting a CEO or senior executive within a complex and fast-paced environment.
-
Strong commercial judgement and business acumen, with the ability to understand organisational priorities and contribute to executive decision-making.
-
Proven experience coordinating strategic initiatives, executive priorities and cross-functional activity to drive outcomes and accountability.
-
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage and build trusted relationships at all levels.
-
Demonstrated success creating operating rhythm, structure and alignment across senior leadership teams, driving outcomes through influence rather than formal authority.
You'll also bring:
-
Relevant qualifications in business, communications, administration or a related field are welcomed but not essential.
-
Naturally curious and committed to continuous learning, with a proactive approach to embracing technology, digital tools and new ways of working to drive efficiency and impact.
