Yours for the making.
Forget what you think you know about banking. We do things differently here. We exist to back teachers and nurses - building a bank designed entirely around them.
We're a customer-owned Australian bank with a clear purpose: making every money moment better. While our organisation has evolved, that deep connection to our purpose is stronger than ever. And now, we're scaling new heights. We're more than a bank - we're building something that gives back in real, everyday ways.
The difference you'll make
This is a unique opportunity to shape how banking operations are delivered, influence strategic initiatives across the business and leave a lasting impact on the member experience.
You'll be leading a team of experienced specialists, you'll use member insights, operational data and continuous improvement principles to identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance service delivery and create better outcomes for both members and colleagues.
You'll drive the evolution of our Banking Enrichment function, leading operational transformation, automation and innovation initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen capability and support our strategic objectives.
Working across Technology, Risk, Data and Member Experience, you'll influence change, challenge traditional ways of working and help shape the future of banking operations.
Who we're looking for
You're someone who naturally questions how things can be done better and has the confidence to challenge existing processes, introduce fresh thinking and drive meaningful change.
We're looking for a people-first leader who combines curiosity, strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement. From improving member onboarding experiences to driving operational excellence, you'll lead initiatives that create meaningful impact for both members and colleagues.
You'll be confident leading teams, influencing stakeholders and delivering change in a complex operational environment. You'll translate data and insights into action, driving better outcomes, building capability and empowering your team to succeed.
You'll also bring:
-
Demonstrated leadership experience within Banking Operations or a similar customer-focused environment, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
-
Experience leading transformation, operational uplift and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business and member outcomes.
-
Strong knowledge of banking operations, payments, card schemes, regulatory obligations and risk management requirements.
-
Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps, use data and insights to inform decision-making, and drive service improvements.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, with a curious, innovative and solutions-focused approach to influencing change and challenging traditional ways of working
